NEXA® – THE NEXADVANTAGE FOR NEGATIVE PRESSURE WOUND THERAPY
The NEXA® Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) system has been developed to improve traditional, clinically proven therapy for mobile patients with chronic wounds and at the same time offer a recycling program to support being environmentally responsible.
With three new innovations in NPWT, NEXA® offers more opportunity to transition patients from hospital to the community and reduce the risk of further re-admission due to complications with their wounds –
Conventional NPWT devices use a vacuum air pump to generate negative pressure which means exudate removal is dependent on the leak rate of the dressing. What does all this mean? NEXA® utilises a Dynamic Fluid Pump which improves exudate removal and provides consistent negative pressure thanks to the novel Pressure Control Connector located close to the wound. The performance of NEXA is also not affected by height differences between the device and the wound. Exudate is drawn into a flexible bag, entirely separated from the pump mechanism.
It has been designed to offer Clinically-effective, Affordable, Simple, and Environmentally-responsible NPWT.
