Cryopreserved allograft burns skin is normally reserved for larger burns. Working with our partners AlloSource we have found ways to help make the GOLD STANDARD in burn care more accessible, not just for larger burns but for use in smaller burns too. As one of the world’s largest providers of allograft burns skin, AlloSource are experts in this field, processing up to 1,000,000 cm2 a month and leading the way in cellular and tissue therapies.
1. What our customers think
Our service only works if it works for you. Over the years we have adapted and created a service that is flexible, creative and delivered to the highest of standards. But don’t take our word for it, see what our customers have to say.
2. Quality and consistency
We go to great lengths to ensure that every donation is maximised and suitable for use. Specialist staff who have years of experience in skin recovery, work hard to ensure every graft you use is suitable and of the right standard. Every allograft provided to you is accurately sized and shaped to make sure it is ideal for use.
Calculating the amount of tissue you need is very straight forward and convenient. AlloSource work with a specific criteria for assessing size, shape and thickness which ensures the quality of our Allografts is superior.
Take a look at the Skin Evaluation Guide for more details.
3. Time saving
When it comes to using cryopreserved skin there are two factors that take considerable time: thawing and meshing. We offer solutions to eliminate wasted time.
AlloSource’s tissue processing and packaging allows for a quick thaw time. Each graft is generally ready to use within a few minutes of starting the thawing process, you won’t need to do anything different with your usual practice except for finding something else to do!
When using extensive amounts of cryopreserved skin meshing can be very time consuming. We are able to offer you pre meshed skin in both 1:1 and 2:1 formats as standard.
Quick thaw times and pre meshed skin helps to make the gold standard in burn care much more accessible
4. Accurate sizing
Every graft contains detailed measurements which are clearly marked on the packaging. Width, length and cm2 (total volume) are included to make life easy and of course to ensure you get the most from each graft, minimising wastage.
You are quickly able to identify and assess the number of packs needed depending on the TBSA.
One pack – One graft – Every graft is the same consistent width and thickness allowing for more accurate placement and minimising waste!
5. Novel return to stock options
Need help maintaining your stock? Do you find yourself with unused allografts and unsuitable storage facilities? Due to our unique solutions we can manage returns (within specific criteria) and therefore help ensure no donated tissue goes to waste.
Whether you hold an HTA licence or not we have a number of options available to you to deliver same day and can turn around unused stock in 48 hours. We are focused on minimising wastage, helping you save money and most importantly helping to provide the best outcomes for the patients
OUT OF HOURS SERVICE – we ship tissue on a ‘just in time’ basis around the UK every week and all year round and run an out of hours service to ensure you get the allograft when your patient
needs it and suits you.
24/7 – 365 days a year.
